Infrastructure Advisory

Significant changes in the business and economic environment have taken place over the last decade since the commencement of the liberalisation process. The main changes relate to the opening up of the infrastructure sector for private investment including foreign direct investment (FDI).

The disinvestment programme has also been initiated in several government owned/public sector undertakings. Major policy changes in all the infrastructure sectors have also led to a re-look at the strategy by all the major players. In addition, there is an increasing awareness of the need by many organisations of bringing in international best practices relating to infrastructure policies and project finance.

KPMG in India focuses on infrastructure as a dedicated practice, and our professionals have experience in working closely with public and private sector clients to assist them improve accountability, performance, and efficiency in their organizations
