Aditya Goel is presently an Associate Director with the Software Process improvement practice as part of the advisory services at KPMG. He has around 15 years of experience in the industry. During this period he has been involved with the analysis, design and development of software, project management, delivery and assisting organizations attain their Software Process Improvement goals.
Aditya has completed his Masters in Computer Applications.
He is certified SCAMPI A Lead Appraiser and an authorised instructor for Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) from the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) to conduct SCAMPI Class A, B and C appraisals and the official Introduction to CMMI – combined (Staged and continuous) trainings for both the CMMI for Development and CMMI for Services models. He has conducted SCAMPI appraisals and Introduction to CMMI official courses in over twelve countries across the world.
He has completed his Introduction to CMMI, SCAMPI Method Overview Training, Intermediate Concepts of CMMI course, Understanding CMMI high maturity practices, SCAMPI Lead Appraiser course and the CMMI Instructor training and authorisation at SEI, Pittsburgh, USA.
He is a trained ISO auditor and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute (PMI), USA.
In his current role, Aditya is involved with assisting organizations in their process improvement efforts with CMMI as one of the reference frameworks.
He has worked with CMM / CMMI (maturity level 2-5) organizations and his advisory, training and appraisal experience includes, among others, organizations in North America, Europe, Japan, Korea, China, Middle East and India.
His experience spans across various domains and industry verticals ranging from automotive (a large automobile manufacturer in USA), embedded systems and software for mission critical systems and software for defence (a large defence subcontractor in USA, a large semiconductor manufacturer in Japan, a large manufacturer of digital imaging products in Japan an insurance major in USA and Software Application Development and Maintenance organizations in Asia and Europe.
